If we would like to offer the interim professional full time employment with our organization are we allowed to do that under the terms of our contract with you?
Yes. Many interim professionals are willing to consider permanent employment. If a client wishes to extend an offer of permanent employment, a small outplacement fee must be paid as specified in the placement contract.
I’m sure that there are incidental expenses associated with the use of an interim professional. Can you tell me how that works?
Transportation for the interim professional to and from their home and work location, housing, and a daily meal allowance is standard in the industry. A rental or lease vehicle may be required as well. These expenses should be negotiated directly with the interim professional in advance of the contract signing. With careful planning and periodic review these expenses can be minimized.
Should the interim professional we select be given a formal orientation to our organization before he or she begins work?
Absolutely! Providing a well thought out, formal orientation is one of the most important steps in a successful transition.
Does Stovall Management provide professional liability insurance for the interim professionals in your data base?
No. Each interim professional is expected to provide their own liability coverage under the advice and counsel of their personal attorney.
